Ben Steiner 2012/13
I’m delighted to confirm I will be making another short film having secured the Ben Steiner Bursary at Deaffest 2012. You will be able to follow my progress here: http://bs2012-13.tumblr.com/
I look forward to the challenges and will work very hard in bringing a quality film to deaffest next year.
I would like to thank the organisers at Deaffest/Zebra and the brilliant Judges making this...
This is the finished ‘Role Models’ film and I ended up calling it ‘From Us to You’…

This is the finished music video, ‘Bread & Stones’ I shot with filmmaker/director Bim Ajadi last month. I’m happy with quite a few shots and I used my ND fader for the first time - very nice. I hope you like the video and I look forward to making many more.
This is a short documentary I made for Graeae Theatre Company at the end of 2011. We followed an amazing group of disabled performers as they learnt circus skills and performed in front of a small audience. Enjoy!
New Project →
A few weeks ago a friend emailed me and is organising a Deaf Professionals Day in a secondary school where she is a CSW. The day is set up to inspire the D/deaf kids to aim to achieve more.
One of the kids commented that he was too stupid to work cos of his deafness - We want to help our kids and show them they can be whoever they want to be.
They asked me to create a short film about myself but...
Wish I could tell people about the exciting project I am working on today… but all will be revealed in due course. I’m very, very excited!
